Thing #3
Fortunately I am familiar with Blogger since I have 3 other blogs that I am currently managing. One of the things that I am NEVER satisfied with is the "skin." I just can't get the right look that I am looking for. I will continue to experiment with that in the coming weeks. I had fun creating my avatar. I really tried to focus on something that represented me.

ReplyDeleteCarrie, I'm glad to know I'm not the only RCE person working on this...I'm a little ahead of you and would be glad to help if you need it...not that I'm an expert, but having been through a few more things, I might be able to save you a little time.

I really like your "skin" that you chose. I am going to have to find some to replace the standard ons that Blogger gives you.

ReplyDeleteOne of the things I like about Blogger is the ability to add gadgets. I have kept my background simple but added lots of gadgets to add to the visual appeal.
Be careful about downloading fancy skins from other locations. They can cause problems with your blog.
I look forward to hearing about what you are learning in 23 Things this summer.
Since I've started using Blogger, they have improved their skins! Rene.... I haven't opened this in a month... I'll let you know if I need help. My own mom is on Thing #20 already. I've just been enjoying my 2 kids!
